Museum Quality Unprimed Belgian Linen Canvas Blankets. The excellent soil quality and moderate climate of the Belgian region is ideal for growing the linen flax plant. Local expertise, combined with centuries of flax spinning and weaving knowledge, guarantee the craftsmanship of New York Central Unprimed Belgian Linen Blankets. Far more desirable than cotton, linen retains its natural oils, which preserves the material’s inherent flexibility and strength. Linen can be thinner and lighter than cotton while maintaining a higher weight load, increasing its durability under heavy-handed painters. Linen will not become slack over time, as cotton is prone to do. Our New York Central Unprimed Belgian Linen is made from select flax fibers and is a beautiful, pure product that maintains a natural weave. The perfect surface can be found for any painting with these unprimed blankets, with multiple textures from extra-fine to medium rough. New York Central Unprimed Belgian Linen gives you the freedom to customize a custom canvas to your priming specifications, making it perfect for every type of painting genre and technique. Shipping Notice: These fine quality linens may take a bit longer to ship, they are custom cut for each order. The canvas is carefully and professionally handled by our in hoUse specialists ensuring you get the best service and experience.
